Discovery Foundation announces the 2024 Technology Education Programs

Vancouver, British Columbia, March 26: The Discovery Foundation, committed to the inclusive development and sustainability of the science and technology sector in BC, today announced the winners of their annual competition for program funding.

The Discovery Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 competition for our Technology Education Program. We look forward to working with these agents to deliver programs that support the development and sustainability of the tech sector throughout BC, with a particular focus on under-represented groups.

“We are excited to be working with great partners to provide a harmonized suite of programs throughout the education and business development spectra, from entrepreneurship in high schools to business start-ups to market validation to investor readiness to high growth, global markets”, says Discovery Foundation CEO, Dr. David G. Harper. “In 2024 our programs will continue to serve underrepresented communities in the BC tech sector, with three specifically designed for Indigenous entrepreneurs and all emphasizing diversity and inclusion. Our values and mission promote the “triple bottom line” of environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and profitability, and our programs support the development and sustainability of the science and technology sector throughout BC, fostering a more prosperous and inclusive economy.”
